Very well made movie with a cool unique story

Im not usually into musicals but this didnt feel like a traditional musical.Great performances from the leads, but selena gomez was by far the weakest part of the movie. It's painfully obvious she doesn't actually speak Spanish.

The leads delivered great, tender performances that were almost undone by Gomez's very wooden performanceShame the filmmakers decided to shoehorn Gomez in for her "star power" instead of giving the role to a deserving Latina actressOtherwise the film is very much worth the watch for the very unique storyline and wonderful performance from Zoe Saldaña
